Moving with our 15’ Box Vans makes your life easier because we offer trucks with ramps or liftgates unlike many competitors like U-Haul. This variety allows you to choose a truck that will truly make your job easier. If you’re moving from home to home, or office to office, these trucks can do the job for about 2 rooms worth of items (offering about 810 cubic feet). Additionally, given this truck is smaller than our 24’ box van (good for 4-6 rooms), it is a bit easier to navigate around the Bay Area including San Jose, San Francisco, Sacramento and more. With a door height of 6’5”, a door width of 7’1”, and inside length of 14’11”, you should be able to fit all of your large items inside like couches, TVs, beds, and even refrigerators.
Liftgate vs. Ramp
These vans feature either a ramp or a liftgate, and the choice between the two should be based on your specific needs. When deciding between a van with a ramp or a liftgate, you will want to consider how heavy your objects are. A ramp allows for an easy walk up to the inside of the van, which is great for moving boxes or smaller furniture and using a dolly or cart. While a liftgate will do the lifting into the van for you via a vertical, hydraulic ramp, supporting up to 2,000 lbs. safely. We recommend liftgate moving vans to those who are moving heavy and awkward items.
